Potassium octoate
A trimerisation catalyst used in PIR foam to build the structure that gives rigid boards and panels their fire performance.
Potassium acetate
A trimerisation catalyst for rigid foam systems, often used alongside potassium octoate to tune reactivity.
Amine catalysts
Gelling and blowing catalysts that balance reaction speed, rise and cure in polyurethane foam.
Surfactants
Stabilise the foam cells as the foam rises, for a fine, uniform structure and consistent insulation value.
